Legalese, short

Privacy, plainly.

We collect as little as we can, use it only to run the roastery and the café, and never sell it. This page explains what that means in practice.

This is a portfolio demonstration website. The business information shown is fictional, and this privacy policy exists to demonstrate how a real client site would be documented.

1. What we collect

When you use the contact form, reserve a table, or sign up for the newsletter, we collect only what the form asks for: your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your message or reservation.

When you buy beans or start a subscription, a payment processor collects your payment details — we never see or store your card number.

2. How we use it

We use your details to:

  • reply to your enquiry or confirm your reservation,
  • send the newsletter you asked for (you can unsubscribe any time),
  • fulfil and ship your coffee orders, and
  • improve the café — for example, remembering which table the big group liked.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information with anyone. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

3. How long we keep it

Enquiries and reservations are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete any of it at any time.

4. Where it lives

Form submissions are emailed to the address configured for this site and logged securely for delivery troubleshooting. Order data is stored with our payment and shipping providers under their own privacy terms.

5. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of the newsletter with a single email to hello@daymark-demo.com. We'll act on it within 30 days.

6. Cookies

This site does not set marketing cookies. It may set a small technical cookie only if you use a feature that needs to remember something across pages.

7. Questions

Anything unclear? Ask us directly — hello@daymark-demo.com or the contact form. We're easier to reach than most roasteries.
