Sable Hotel
Identity, wayfinding and interiors graphics for a 140-room hotel built for slow mornings.
The brief
Sable was opening a hotel in an old printing house and wanted the identity to respect the building — its brick, its light, its history of ink on paper.
Our approach
The identity is built on letterpress logic: a cut-paper "S", a type system in warm greys, and a room-numbering system stamped like a colophon. We also designed the lobby, stairwell and in-room collateral.
The result
Sable opened in May 2024 and ran at 92% occupancy in its first summer — with the brand itself doing a lot of the marketing.
